Getting a blue
screen warning?

Completely normal. Windows shows this for every unsigned app from an indie developer. Here’s exactly what’s happening and how to get past it in 10 seconds.

Why it happens
Microsoft charges ~$300/year for code-signing certificates. Editor's Stash is completely free, so it's unsigned. Windows flags all unsigned apps by default — safe or not.

Click "More info"
When the blue SmartScreen dialog appears, don't close it. Click "More info" in the middle of the dialog.

Click "Run anyway"
A "Run anyway" button appears at the bottom. Click it. App opens normally — you'll never see this again for this version.

Is it safe?
Yes. Runs 100% offline. Zero background network requests. Only connects when you explicitly paste a URL to download something.
